Step-by-step Guide to Convert 4K video to FCP X Editable Video on Mac
Note: If you are using FCP X, please make sure you have installed ProApps QuickTime Codecs.Step 1. Add 4K videos
Install and run the 4k video converter on your computer, then click "Add Video" button to browse and load yourvideos which you've transferred to your Mac.
Step 2. Choose FCP X supported format
Click "Format"bar, from its drop-down list, select one of FCP X supported file formats such as Apple ProRes format under "Final Cut Pro" drop-down list.
Tips: The default settings may not satisfy you, and you can click the "Settings" button to change the settings by yourself including video resolution, bit rate, audio sample rate, audio channel etc.
Step 3. Click the "Convert" button on the main interface and the software will start to convert 4K video to FCP X friendly video formats immediately.
